Masa dough carries centuries of community and nourishment — and learning to work it by hand is one of those kitchen experiences that stays with you. Rochester Brainery is hosting a Make Your Own Tortillas and Pupusas class on September 2, led by instructor Christin Ortiz. You will learn both the familiar flour tortilla and the thicker, stuffed pupusa — a staple of Salvadoran home cooking. This is hands-on, practical, and delicious.
